Back to School
anecdote
Leonard Drop wore cargo pants to school. That morning he’d woken up at five in the morning to put on his cargo pants and prepare his radios. He put fresh batteries in his radios and put each radio in its own cargo pocket. He ran the headphone wires from the radios through his pants, along his legs and torso, then up his arms to the little earpieces hidden in the cuff at his wrist. Leonard could listen to any of the radios whenever he wanted. Changing the channel was as easy as simply listening to a different part of his wrist. Now he could listen to the radio instead of the lectures in class. When he got tired of listening to conservative talk radio, he could switch over to NPR. When he got tired of NPR, he could listen to a sermon.
