Beethoven's Health Problems

Beethoven’s doctors had given him
a prescription because at some point
an extra face had started growing
in his armpit.
The pills the doctors gave him
couldn't get rid of the face, 
but they stopped the face from getting bigger
and stopped it from biting 
the inside of his bicep.
Beethoven remained
cautiously optimistic.
